<br /> <br />a. The site plan shall be drawn to scale showing the property <br />dimensions as well as the NCDOT right of way. <br />4. Where two or more organizations operate from the same building <br />or site, a total of two (2) off premise directional signs shall be <br />allowed. <br />5. Signs shall not exceed six (6) square feet in size. <br />6. Signs shall not exceed four (4) feet in height measured from the <br />top of natural grade to the uppermost part of the sign. <br />7. Sign shall not be lighted. <br />8. Sign may bear the name of the organization and/or its logo, and a <br />directional arrow only. <br />9. Permanent off premise directional signs are to be constructed of <br />rigid, durable material (masonry, metal, or wood that is primed <br />and painted) that will not rust, fade, rot or be become structurally <br />unstable. <br />a. Off. premise signs shall receive routine maintenance <br />including, but not limited to, painting, cleaning, and <br />replacement of damaged components, to remain in good <br />repmr. <br />b. Should signs fall into disrepair, the sign applicant shall be <br />found in violation of the standard listed above and subject to <br />the penalties set forth in Section 12-27 of this Ordinance. <br />10. All components of the sign, including the sign face, stakes, posts, <br />frames or any other supporting element must be removed from <br />the property upon permanent cessation ofthe bnsiness operation. <br /> <br />Permanent off-premise signage not related to nonprofit, noncommercial <br />organizations and not following the guidelines listed above is prohibited. <br /> <br />Chapter 11 Table Six <br /> <br />delete entire table and replace with attached tables. <br /> <br />G-~ <br /> <br />Page 6 pf9 <br />, <br />
