<br />CABARRUS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />AGENDA ITEM REQUEST <br /> <br />Meeting Date 11/21/05 Agenda Item # _F - l..o <br /> <br />SUBJECT: <br />Edward Byme Memorial Justice Assistance Grant 2005-DJ-BX-1230 <br /> <br />BRIEF SUMMARY: <br /> <br />This budget amendment is to appropriate funds for the Edward Byme Memorial Justice <br />Assistance Grant 2005-DJ-BX-1230. Grant funds will be received from the US <br />Department of Justice in the amount of $37,806.00. The Sheriff's Office will use the funds <br />to purchase <br />a target system for the firing range. The target system is remote controlled and will be <br />used for combat training for all officers and agencies in the county.
