Griffin on proper permitting <br />for the demolition of the former Pillowtex buildings. Demolition permits are required and are currently <br />SUbject to Schedule B of the permit fee schedule. Based on that schedule, the fee for a $1 million <br />demolition project would be $3030. The amount of our fees are intended to compensate the County for <br />work performed and with the limited amount of work required by County staff on demolition we feel that <br />those fees are too high.
