<br />Ordinance No. 2005-_ <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CABARRUS COUNTY <br /> <br />ZONING ORDINANCE <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED that the Chapter 12 ofthe Cabarrus County Zoning Ordinance is <br />hereby replaced with the following: <br /> <br />Chapter 12 Administration & Enforcement <br /> <br />Section 12-1. How to use this Chapter. This Chapter is divided into the <br />following three major parts: <br /> <br />Chapter Twelve Administration & Enforcement <br />Part I. Zoning Administrator; Zoning Compliance Permits. Section 12-2 <br />Explains the role of the Zoning Administrator, how to obtain a to 12-14 <br />zoning compliance permit and the requirements for both a <br />"major" and "minor" site plan. <br />Part II. The Cabarrus County Planning & Zoning Commission. Section 12-15 <br />Representation, terms, powers and responsibilities are set forth to 12-26 <br />as well explanations of both the conditional use and variance <br />procedures as well as application of the interpretation power. <br />Part III. Enforcement. Covers violations and penalties. Section 12-27 <br /> to 12-29 <br /> <br />Part I. Zoning Administrator; Zoning Compliance Permits. <br /> <br />Section 12-2. Zoning Administrator. <br /> <br />A Zoning Administrator and such staff as designated by the Cabarrus County <br />Board of Commissioners (hereinafter referred to as Commission) shall administer <br />and enforce the provisions of this Ordinance. Among the responsibilities of the <br />Zoning Administrator is the issuance or denial of Certificates of Zoning <br />Compliance. <br /> <br />If a ruling of the Zoning Administrator is questioned, applicant(s) may <br />appeal to the Cabarrus County Planning and Zoning Commission as described in <br />Section 12-22. <br /> <br />fI-lltJ <br />
