Resolution No. 2005- RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING THE REGULAR MEETING SCHEDULE FOR CALENDAR YEAR 2006 WHEREAS, the regular agenda work sessions of the Cabarrus County Board of Commissioners are currently held on the first Monday of each month at 3:30 p.m. in the Multipurpose Room at the Governmental Center; and WHEREAS, the regular meetings of the Board of Commissioners are held on the third Monday of each month at 6:30 p.m. in the Commissioners' Meeting Room at the Governmental Center; and WHEREAS, several holidays and scheduled conferences of the National Association of County Commissioners require a change in a number of the agenda work session dates as well as the January 2006 regular meeting date; and WHEREAS, North Carolina General Statute 153A-26 requires that the Board hold an organizational meeting on the first Monday of December for each even-numbered year. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the Cabarrus County Board of Commissioners, pursuant to North Carolina General Statute 153A-40(a), does hereby: (1) Establish the Board's regular agenda work session schedule to meet at 3:30 p.m. in the Multipurpose Room at the Governmental Center on the following dates: January 9, 2006 February 6, 2006 March 13, 2006 April 3, 2006 May 1, 2006 June 5, 2006 July 10, 2006 August 14,2006 September 11, 2006 October 2, 2006 November 6, 2006 December 11,2006 (2) Establish the Board's regular meeting schedule to meet at 6:30 p.m. in the Commissioner's Meeting Room at the Governmental Center on the following dates: January 23, 2006 February 20, 2006 March 20, 2006 April 17, 2006 May 15,2006 June 19,2006 July 17, 2006 August 21,2006 September 18, 2006 October 16,2006 November 20, 2006 December 18, 2006 (3) Set the organizational meeting at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, December 4, 2006, in the Commissioners' Meeting Room; and ~I- '1
