Issues <br />addressed included the pros and cons of small versus large schools, the <br />feasibility of year round schools and/or double sessions, the possibility of <br />expanding existing high schools and the continuIng growth in the county. <br /> <br /> Mrs. Mynatt presented a letter to Chairman Freeman thanking the Board <br />of Comm/ssioners for its past support and asking the Board to work with the <br />Board of Education and school staff to provide funding for five elementary <br />schools, one middle school, and one high school over the next five years. <br />She asked that the Board of Education be placed on the County Co~n~ssion's <br />agenda for the December 15~ meeting to further discuss the school facility <br />needs. <br /> <br /> There being no further business to come before the Board, Chairman <br />Freeman recessed the meeting at 8:45 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. on November 24, <br />2003, at Camp Spencer. <br /> <br />Clerk to the Board <br /> <br /> <br />
