Meeting Date 3/15/04 <br /> <br /> CABARRUS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />AGENDA ITEM REQUEST <br /> <br />Agenda Item # ~-~ <br /> <br />SUBJECT: <br />Establish revenue and expenditure accounts for the Subdivision Bond Review process. <br /> <br />BRIEF SUMMARY: <br />The Planning Services Division uses an engineering contractor to perform bond/letter of <br />credit reviews for developers that choose to record a final subdivision plat prior to <br />completion of required improvements (i.e. street paving, utility line installation). The <br />developer is responsible for the cost of the review. Per the Finance Department, a <br />separate revenue and expenditure account should be established to better track this <br />activity.
