CABARRUS COUNTY - CURRENT MEMBERSHIP <br /> <br />Cabarrus County has four (4) members on the twenty-three (23) member Centralina Workforce <br />Development Board (WDB). The Cabarrus County Commissioners will select and approve nominations <br />for WDB members based on the slate of nominations presented by the appropriate agencies and <br />organizations listed under "General Information" and "Membership". Each WDB member is appointed to <br />serve a two-year term. Nominations and appointments to fill the categories of Private <br />Sector representatives (2) are requested. <br /> <br />Mr. VanGorden (BVG Consulting) is eligible for reappointment as one of the Private Sector <br />representatives. Bob is an excellent board member. He serves as Chairman of the Centralina <br />WDB and services on the Board'~ Executive Committee and Community Relations Committee. <br /> <br />Mr. Whitley (Carolina Carpet Care & Restoration) is also eligible for reappointment as one of <br />the Private Sector representatives. Mr. Whitley is an outstanding board member. Please supply David Hollars at Centralina a list of <br />nominations and appointees (including name, title, company/agency, address, and phone numbers) as <br />soon as possible but no later than May 5, 2004.
