Dubois, Deputy County Manager <br /> <br />Subject: Tax Reduction Specialist <br /> <br />On April 25, 2003 the County notified Tax Reduction Specialist (TRS) that effective May <br />25, 2003 the County was ending our business relationship. Any business that they had <br />started needs to cease by May 25th. Any in-process work that was completed during this <br />time period would be settled once proper confirmation was received from the NC <br />Department of Revenue and TRS. At this time, two more audits have been completed <br />and we have received notification from the NC Department of Revenue and TRS. The <br />audits are for Mecklenburg County and Moravian Home/Winston-Salem. At this time I <br />am requesting that a budget revision be approved for the payment for this work. I will <br />approach the Board at a later date when the County receives the final audit notification <br />for Cabarms County Schools.
