The Planning <br />Services Division must receive these copies by the submission deadline without <br />exception. The Planning and Zoning Commission's current regular monthly <br />meeting date shall serve as the deadline for scheduling an item for consideration <br />by the Commission at its next regularly scheduled monthly meeting. If revisions <br />are needed, the subdivider shall submit fifteen (1S) folded copies of the revised <br />preliminary plat to the Planning Services Division no later than ten (10) days prior <br />to the regularly scheduled monthly meeting of the Planning and Zoning <br />Commission for which the item shall be considered. <br /> <br />Specifications for Plats - Unless the average lot size in a proposed subdivision~is <br />more than three (3) acres, the preliminary plat shall be drawn at a scale of one <br />hundred (100') feet to the inch. If the average lot size is more than three (3) <br />acres, the scale may be two hundred (200') feet to the inch. <br /> <br />All Preliminary Plats shall contain the following information' <br /> <br />The Title Block - it shall show the words "PRELIMINARY PLAT" and shall <br />include the subdivision name, township, date, scale, and the name(s), <br />phone number(s), and address(es) of the owner(s) and the designer(s) of <br />the plan and his/her title. The title block shall be located on the bottom <br />right corner of the plat. If the plan is part of a previously recorded <br />subdivision, the old name, date and recording reference of the prior plat <br />shall be stated. <br /> <br />Proposed Subdivision Data - the names and locations of all proposed <br />streets, the location of all easements, lots, parks, reserve strips or other <br />open spaces, reservations, other properly lines and building setback lines <br />with dimensions of stree.ts, lots and other property lines. The approximate <br />area in acreage or square footage of each lot. <br /> <br />Survey - the boundary line on the tract to be subdivided shall be determined <br />by an accurate survey prepared and signed by a registered surveyor in <br />accordance with G.S. 47-30, or a clear declaration shall be shown on the <br />map of how the map was Prepared. <br /> <br />15/ <br /> <br /> <br />
