CABARRUS COUNTY BUDGET ORDINANCE <br />SPECIAL FIRE AND SERVICE DISTRICT TAXES FUND <br />FISCAL YEAR 2004-2005 <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Comrmssioners of Cabarrus County, North Carohna: <br /> <br />Secnon I. <br /> <br />It ts the ~ntent of the Special Fire and Servtce District Taxes Fund to provide necessary funds to local nonprofit volunteer <br />fire departments m unincorporated areas of Cabarrus County for the purpose of providing fire protection. Upon <br />recommendation from the local nonprofit volunteer fire department and tts appointed Fire commisston, the Board of <br />County Commisstoners does hereby levy the tax on Real, Personal and Public Service property located in each specific <br />designated fire or service d~stfict. Such funds collected by the County Tax Collector are then rermtted to each fire <br />department for the purpose of providing fire protections to the specific taxed area. <br /> <br />Section II <br /> <br />The following amounts are hereby appropriated tn the Spectal Fire and Service D~stnct Tax Fund to provide for the <br />operation of rural volunteer fire services for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2004 and ending June 30, 2005: <br /> <br />Fire Department ApDro~)riation <br />Allen $ 147,026 <br />Cold Water 126,145 <br />Enochville 49,154 <br />Flowe's Store 130,265 <br />Georgevllle 101,525 <br />Gold Hill 15,965 <br />Harrisburg 735,017 <br />Jackson Park 81,611 <br />Midland 248,672 <br />Mt.
