Sidewalks shall not be <br />installed in the round ends of cul-de-sacs. <br /> <br />2. Street trees shall not be required. <br /> <br />Streets will be designated as collector type streets in accordance with current County <br />and NC DOT requirements. Curb and gutter shall be installed on all streets, but valley <br />curb and gutter shall be acceptable. <br /> <br />Cul-de-Sac pavement radius shall be 37ft within the rights-of-way, and an easement <br />shall be provided to accommodate any part of the street or utility infrastructure not <br />contained within the right-of-way so as not to affect setbacks. <br /> <br />5. NC DOT Pavement sections will be shown on the plans (plats). The minimum <br /> pavement cross-section shall be as required by NC DOT. <br /> <br />6 Right-of-way widths at a minimum of 50 feet will be permitted or as approved by the <br /> NC DOT. <br /> <br />7 The NC DOT District Engineer shall approve the terrain classification. <br /> <br />Refer to NC DOT Subdivision Roads Minimum Construction Standards for minimum <br />speed, horizontal, vertical, etc. design standards. This includes, but is not limited to, <br />minimum centerline radius, minimum k values, minimum distance between reverse <br />curves, etc, <br /> <br />9 Dedicated sight triangle easements at intersections with public streets are to b.e shown <br /> on the final plat. [County standard is 35' x 35' and NC DOT 10' x 70'] <br /> <br />10 The grades for 100' each way from intersections exceeding 5.0% are not allowed <br /> unless approved by the NC Department of Transportation. <br /> <br />11 Approval of a NCDOT Street and Driveway Access Permit Application(s) are <br /> required, pursuant to NC DOT standards and procedures. <br /> <br />12 The Developer is required to obtain any right-of-way in the name of the NC DOT that <br /> may be necessary to install all turn lane improvements. <br /> <br />13 Street names shall be in accordance with City Standards as shown in UDO Appendix <br /> C.4.2.16. <br /> <br /> <br />
