I am pleased to announce that your county has been awarded a 2004 NACo <br />Achievement Award for the program entitled, Metrolina Out of County Medical Transportations Services <br />MOU. In this 35th year of the Achievement Award program, NACo is extremely pleased with the high caliber <br />of county programs and projects. NACo is proud to confer this award and recognize your county's hard work to <br />promote responsible, responsive, and effective county government. <br /> <br /> NACo greatly appreciates your county's participation in our Achievement Award program. In addition <br />to giving us an opportunity to formally recogmze effective and creative programs, th~s program enhances our <br />awareness of county activities and allows us to share valuable information with other counues throughout the <br />nation. <br /> <br /> As you may know, NACo recognizes award winners in several ways. A list of winning programs will <br />be available on NACo's homepage at http://www.naco.org. A new webslte, www.nacostore.com, has been made available for these <br />commemoratlves to make purchasing efficient and easy. <br /> <br /> This year, NACo will host the E]ghth Annual Awards Reception dunng our 2004 Annual Conference tn <br />Phoenix (Mancopa County), Arizona. This reception, scheduled for the morning of Sunday, July 18, 2004, will <br />be held from 3:30 pm - 5:30 pm In Room Phoenix 16-20 of the Phoenix C~wc Plaza located at I l I North 3rd <br />Street. Dunng th~s ceremony, Achievement Award w~nners will be collectively recognized and there will be an <br />opportumty for you or your representative to have a photo taken with a NACo official.
