It is also suggested that the <br />minimum value of advancement be increased. At the current value, about $2 million would <br />be raised countywide. A minimum value of $3,000 would raise about $6 million. A minimum <br />value of $5000 would raise about $10 million annually. It is important to relieve the <br />pressure on the property tax rate caused by the need for additional school facilities and this <br />is one of the few methods available to do so.
