Director, <br />Department of Commerce for Cabarrus Count?,' for meeting with our Board of <br />Directors on Monday of this week and last week concerning the Northwest <br />Area Plan and the N.C. 73 Corridor Study and issues affecting both. <br /> <br />After much discussion and deliberation, the Association's Board of Directors <br />has made the following determinations concerning these important items: <br /> <br />· We are opposed to any t? pe of building moratorium to address issues <br /> related to g-rowth. <br /> <br />We belie,,e there are businesses who ha~e not been asked t'or input on <br />both the .--M'ea Plan and the Corridor Smd.,, and ,,,,hose tuture plans could <br />be deeply impacted by a building moratorium. <br /> <br />· We request that the Cabarrus Count?. Planning and Zoning Board tulip <br /> enforce regulations alread? existing to ensure adequate future piarming. <br /> <br />We are ,,er, concerned ,.~ith the issues surrounding count? schools <br />planning a~d financing and stand read? to ,aork with the count.', to find <br />proacti,,e solutions to them.
