<br />CABARRUS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />AGENDA ITEM REQUEST <br /> <br />Agenda Item # <br /> <br />L-3 <br /> <br />Meeting Date 9/20/04 <br /> <br />SUBJECT: <br />Presentation to Board of Commissioners by the Cabarrus Quilters Guild. <br /> <br />BRIEF SUMMARY: <br /> <br />The Guild will present a Quilt Show Oct. 2-3 at the Cabarrus Arena and Events Center. <br />The show, previously held in the county's Concord library, has outgrown that space. This <br />year, in addition to the exhibition of more than 150 handmade quilts, there will be 15 or <br />more local vendors, plus nearly 50 door prizes.
