<br />Bovis Lend Lease <br /> <br />Reference: Polk County, NC <br />Contact: Speros Fleggas <br />Experience: Polk County Youth Detention Center <br /> <br />I spoke with Speros Fleggas regarding this project. Bovis served as CM for this project. <br />He stated that Bovis was a good company that is very capable of handling large projects. <br />He also stated that they were being used by the North Carolina University system to <br />construct libraries, residency halls, and laboratories. <br /> <br />Reference: Lee County, SC <br />Contact: Staff <br />Experience: Lee County Correctional Facility <br /> <br />Lee County staff was pleased with service. Bovis was brought on late in the proce~s, <br />with only 6-9 monthsJeft. The County staff could not answer any detailed questions due <br />to stafftumover. The staffproject manager had left the county. <br /> <br />Reference: Adams County, CO <br />Contact: Staff. <br />Experience: Adams County Detention Facility <br /> <br />Staff was very pleased with Bovis' service. The project, a county detention center came <br />in on time and within budget. Quality of the project was good. <br /> <br />Reference: Delaware County, NY <br />Contact: Lt. Bruce Gaffney <br />Experience: Delaware County Correctional Facility <br /> <br />I spoke with Lt. Bruce Gaffney. He stated that Bovis had done an adequate job on the <br />project, however, there had been some problems with the construction. He stated that <br />there was a lot òf turnover in the on site management and that in hind sight he wished that <br />there had been more on sight representation. There were some quality issues that had . <br />arisen due to lack of on sight management. He stated that Bovis had stood by the project <br />and that t~ey still had a representative on the projec(who was working to correctthe <br />deficiencies. <br /> <br />SUMMARY <br /> <br />Contract Administration: <br />Polk County stated that it was a large firm, capable of handling large projects. They were <br />very pleased with the youth facility and were aware that Bovis was being used by the NC <br />state university system for construction projects. Lee County brought them in <br />specifically to wrap up a project. Delaware County stated that there had been some <br /> <br />t- '- ( <br />
