<br />""'~"""""""'~""""""""""" <br /> <br />Centralina Reaional CEDS Communüy Assessme¡'~ <br /> <br />Introduction <br /> <br />The purpose of the Centralina Regional CEDS Project is to develop a regional strategy for improving the economy ofthe following <br />counties that make up the Centralina Council of Governments (COG): <br /> <br />Anson <br />Cabarrus <br />Gaston <br /> <br />Iredell <br />Lincoln <br />Mecklenburg <br /> <br />Rowan <br />Stanly <br />Union <br /> <br />Although these nine counties comprise the geographic area of the Centralina Council of Governments region (denoted in bright <br />yellow below), they are also part of a larger economic region, referred to as the Charlotte Regional Partnership, which includes seven <br />other counties, including four counties in South Carolina.
