Cabarrus County Public HearingslNotices Page 1 of2 PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE November 15, 2004 6:30 p.m. Commissioners' Meeting Room - Governmental Center 65 Church Street, S, Concord, NC Cabarrus County will be applying for transportation funding through the North Carolina Department of Transportation -Public Transportation Division (NCDOT-PTD) for funding provided by the Federal Transportation Administration (FT A) Sect. 5311 Grant for the Fiscal Year 05/06. Funding applied for is designated for the Administrative and Capital funding of Community Transportation systems. The amounts projected to be applied for is $145,500.00 in Administrative funding and $185,500.00 in Capital funding. All funding is designated for the purposes as outlined in the Grant to provide general Public Transportation services. The County is required to match the Grant funds awarded through local funds. The required match.for the Administrative funding is 15 % of Grant amount awarded and 10% match for the Capital Grant amount awarded. The County will hold a public hearing, if requested regarding this funding application on November 15,2004 at 6:30 p.m. in the County Commissioners chambers in the County Governmental Center. The amounts of funding available for this application are set by the NCDOT -PTD and this pending application may be inspected at the County Public Transportation Services office at 50 Beechwood Drive, Concord, NC Monday through Friday from 8 am until 5 pm.
