<br />CABARRUS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />AGENDA ITEM REQUEST <br /> <br />Agenda Item # )~ - 4- <br /> <br />Meeting Date 12/20/04 <br /> <br />SUBJECT: <br />Appointments to the Cabarrus County Park and Recreation Commission <br /> <br />BRIEF SUMMARY: <br /> <br />The term appointments for Connie Goodman (Townships 1, 2, 3), Terry Jones (Townships <br />5,6,7,8) and John Parker (Townships 9, 10) will expire on January 31,2005. Connie <br />Goodman has served two (2) consecutive full terms; therefore, she is ineligible to serve <br />another term. Cabarrus County School Board Chair, Liz Poole, requested of the Cabarrus <br />County Commissioners to appoint new school board member Holly Blackwelder to her <br />unexpired seat on the Parks and Recreation Commission.
