Box 707 <br />Concord, North Carolina 28026 <br /> <br />SUBJECT: 2005 appointment to the Transportation Advisory Committee (TAC) and the <br />Technical Coordinating Committee (TCC) of the Cabarrus-Rowan Urban Area Metropolitan <br />Planning Organization (MPO) <br /> <br />Dear Mr. Day, <br /> <br />Each year the North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) requires the MPO to supply a <br />list of current T AC and TCC representatives along with their alternates. At present, Commissioner <br />Carolyn Carpenter is the appointed member and Commissioner Coy Privette serves as the alternate <br />to represent Cabarrus County on the TAC. Mike Byrd is currently the TCC representative with <br />Rodger Lentz being the altemate. Please notify the MPO of your changes to the T AC representative, <br />as well as the TCC (staff) appointee. The TAC and TCC appointees should be able to attend regular <br />meetings and also participate on regional transportation planning committees. Attendance at the <br />meetings is critical to the success of our planning efforts and to bring information back to their <br />respective communities. <br /> <br />Please provide current contact information for these individuals to include mailing address, <br />telephone, fax numbers and e-mail address.
