Curb and gutter shall be installed on all <br />streets, but valley curb and gutter shall be acceptable. <br /> <br />4. <br /> <br />CuI-dc-Sac pavement rqdius shall be 37 ft. witbin the rights-of-way, and an <br />easement shall be provided to accommodate any part of the street or utility <br />infrastructure not contained within the right -of-way so as not to affect setbacks. <br /> <br />5. <br /> <br />NC DOT Pavement sections will be shown on the plans (plats). The minimum <br />pavement cross-section shall be as required by NC DOT. <br /> <br />6. <br /> <br />Right-of-way widths at a minimum of 50 feet will be permitted or as approved by <br />the NC DOT. <br /> <br />7. <br /> <br />The NC DOT District Engineer shall approve the terrain classification. . <br /> <br />8. <br /> <br />Refer to NC DOT Subdivision Roads Minimum Construction Standards for <br />minimum speed, horizontal, vertical, etc. design standards. This includes, but is not <br />limited to, minimum centerline radius, minimum k values, minimum distance <br />between reverse curves, etc. <br /> <br />9. <br /> <br />Dedicated sight triangle easements at intersections with public streets are to be <br />shown on the final plat. [County standard is 35' x 35' and NC DOT 10' x 70'] <br /> <br />10. <br /> <br />The grades for 100' each way from intersections exceeding 5.0% are not allowed <br />unless approved by the NC Department ofTr~mspOliation. <br /> <br />11. <br /> <br />Approval of a NCDOT Street and Driveway Access Permit Application(s) are <br />required, pursuant to NC DOT standards and procedures. <br /> <br />12. <br /> <br />The Developer is required to obtain any right-of-way in the name of the NC DOT <br />t.hat may be necessary to install all tum lane improvements. ' <br /> <br />Street names shall be in accordance with City Standards as shown 111 UDO <br />Appendix CA.2.l6. <br /> <br />NC DOT standards for cul-de-sacs shall be met. <br /> <br />Plans for the required improvements on all NC DOT facilities sections will need to <br />show dimensions of widening, storage, bays and tapers, striping plan with <br />dimensions and notation for the striping standards, cross section of new sections and <br />overlays, tie-in to new improvements (curb and gutter, sidewalks \ etc. <br /> <br />NC DOT street construction and improvements criteria shall apply generally, <br /> <br />.., <br />.J <br />\=-2> <br />
