<br />CABARRUS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />AGENDA ITEM REQUEST <br /> <br />Agenda Item # <br /> <br />t:-s <br /> <br />Meeting Date 12/20/04 <br /> <br />SUBJECT: <br />Fiscal year 2004 fund balance appropriation - 2004 North Carolina Emergency <br />Management Performance Grant totaling $23,201. <br /> <br />BRIEF SUMMARY: <br /> <br />During the FY 2005 budget process, Emergency Management budgeted anticipated <br />Emergency Management Grant revenue of $11539.00; inadvertently, the expense was not <br />budgeted in the Equipment and Furniture expense line item to purchase a vehicle. <br />Therefore, a fund balance appropriation of $11 ,539 is required for the vehicle purchase. <br />The Board appropriated the additional funding of $11,662 in November 2004 <br />implementing the 2004 North Carolina Emergency Management Performance Grant <br />(EMPG) fiscal year 2005 funding of $23,201. <br /> <br />REQUESTED ACTION: (Suggested motion if the Board approves the agenda item as presented) <br />Approve budget amendment. <br /> <br />Attachments D Yes ~ No Expected Length of Presentation <br /> <br />Submitted By: Robert S.
