<br />CABARRUS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />AGENDA ITEM REQUEST <br /> <br />Agenda Item # F - J 0 <br /> <br />Meeting Date 12/20/04 <br /> <br />SUBJECT: <br />Additional fiscal year 2005 funding of $26,795 - NC State Board of Elections Title I Section <br />101 Help America Vote Act (HAVA) Grants, <br /> <br />BRIEF SUMMARY: <br /> <br />Cabarrus County was awarded additional HAVA grants totaling $26,795, A Student <br />Election Assistance Grant of $5,875 was received and deposited 10.13.2004 and used to <br />pay the salaries of student election assistants for the November 2004 general election.
