Your first opportunity to do that as a <br />new board will be Monday, January 6th at your work session. <br /> <br />With regard to short-term goals, please give some thought to specific accomplishments <br />you'd like to see realized. Examples might include public awareness projects, taxation <br />levels, building projects, local intergovernmental efforts, environmental programs, school <br />projects, arena & event center projects, parks, etc. <br /> <br />Long-term goals could include taxation levels, a variety of quality-of-life issues, regional <br />cooperation efforts, growth management, economic development strategies, public safety <br />issues, etc. <br /> <br />To facilitate the goal setting process Monday, I'll ask each of you to offer your short- and <br />long-term goals. We'll make a list, remove the duplicates, and discuss each item on the <br />list.
