Violation of this section <br />constitutes a misdemeanor. <br /> <br />(e) It shall be unlawful to secure permanent electrical power to the premises before a <br /> final inspection. (Ord. of 5-13-91, 5; Ord. of 7-17-95 <br /> State law reference- Similar provisions, G.S. 153A-363, 153A-364 <br />Sec. 14-33 North Carolina Rehabilitation Code adopted. <br /> <br />(a) <br /> <br />The North Carolina Rehabilitation Code as enacted by the North Carolina General <br />Assembly and as modified by supplements covering amendments thereto, is <br />hereby adopted by reference as fully as though set forth herein as a supplemental <br />building code for Cabarrus County to the extent such code is applicable. <br /> <br />(b) All ordinances or portions of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. <br /> <br />(c) <br /> <br />Should any provisions of this ordinance be declared invalid or unconstitutional by <br />any court of competent jurisdiction, such declaration shall not affect the validity <br />of the ordinance as a whole or any part thereof, which is not specifically declared <br />to be invalid or unconstitutional. <br /> <br />(d) <br /> <br />This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after the date of its <br />adoption. <br /> <br />Sec. 14-34 Appendix G of the International Residential Code (2002 edition) adopted. <br /> <br />(a) <br /> <br />The Appendix G of the International Residential Code (2002) edition and as <br />modified by supplements covering amendments thereto, is hereby adopted by <br />reference as fully as though set forth herein as a supplemental building code <br />for Cabarrus County to the extent such code is applicable. <br /> <br />(b) <br /> <br />All ordinances or portions of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby <br />repealed. <br /> <br />(c) <br /> <br />Should any provisions of this ordinance be declared invalid or <br />unconstitutional by any court of competent jurisdiction, such declaration <br />shall not affect the validity of the ordinance as a whole or any part thereof, <br />which is not specifically declared to be invalid or unconstitutional. <br /> <br />(d) <br /> <br />This ordinance shall effect and be in force from and after the date of its <br />adoption. <br /> <br />Secs. 14-35 - 14-50.
