Thank You for Your Support of the <br />Local Government Wing Campaign <br /> <br />I want to take this opportunity to thank the counnes and municipalities that have pledged and given $560,000 to the <br />Institute of Government Foundation's capital fund through the North Carolina Local Government Wing Campaign <br />launched jointly by the N.C. Association of County Commissioners and the N C. League of Municipalities /he goal of <br />the campaign is to raise $900,000 to honor the long and productive partnership between North Carolina's local <br />governments and the Institute of Government. <br /> <br />At the conclusion of the campaign, the School of Government's newest and largest classroom wing will be dedicated <br />permanent recogmtion of North Carolina local government. The names of all municipal, county, association, and <br />individual contributors will be displayed on a special Wall of Honor in the atrium of the new w~ng <br /> <br />On behalf of our faculty and staff and the thousands of public officials who attend courses at the School each year, I <br />sincerely thank you for your help as we strive to meet this important financial goal. We also extend special thanks to the <br />leadership of your professional associations for initiating this important campaign to support our capital project <br /> <br />Michael R.
