Descr coord wide proces agement ~tion: The case manager or social worker is the primary ~ator of all services provided to the recipient. They must have a aowledge of community partners. In areas where a at has been sanctioned due to non-compliance with Work First ments, the social worker will maintain contact for three months to ensue that the children in the home are not being deprived. b. Provi41on: The Work First Employment Social Worker will be the case n'~anager of the case, and will be the primary provider of the above [upportive services. c. Locafibn: Most services under case management will take place in one o ~f~two places, DSS or the recipients' homes. In some instance, it is concei[able that it may occur in school or the workplace. ! Child Ca~ a. Descr~tion: Childcare will be available as funding permits for all employed Work First recipients. If needed, Block Grant funding can be use~[ to purchase this service. b. Provi4on: Child care assistance will be managed by staffofthe Day Care U~it at the Department of Social Services. They will receive a referrat from the Work First Social Worker, and take and process the applic~ion for childcare, giving the recipient counseling and the choice~f providers for the care. c. LocatiOn: Child care assistance will be located at DSS. Work-Related Expenses and Participation Expenses a. De.sc.ri~tion: Work-related and participation expenses for Work First recipient, ts are costs that can be incurred and are directly related to obtaining and maintaining a job, as determined by the Social Worker. These ~xpenses can consist of: clothing for work and interviews, tools, unifom[s, cai- repairs, car insurance, tires. It is understood that these are on~time expenses, and should not be provided if, by the social worker!s determination, that this will be ongoing, and will be needed on a re~tular basis to maintain employment.
