The following Committee members
were present:

Members Present:

Ted Kluttz (co-chair)
David Mayfield (co-chair)
Howard Hurlocker
Jill Brim
Tim Foley
Carlos Moore
Jo Coble
Tom Schmitt

Members Not Present:

Ed Hill
Tim Arey
Rob Miles
Adam Hines

City Staff Present:
Jeff Young, Director of Planning and Community Development
Debbie Rayman, Planning Services Manager
Allison Megrath, Coordinating Planner
Margaret Pearson, Development Review Administrator

CALL TO ORDER

David Mayfield opened the meeting and asked if there were any changes to the
agenda. There were none. Regarding the recommendation prepared by staff on
the issue of screening and buffer yards, David asked if there were any changes
or comments that needed to be discussed and addressed. Ted Kluttz stated that
he had some discussions with other UDOAC members prior to the meeting that
the word "strongly" needed to be removed from the first bullet statement. Carlos
Moore clarified that he thought that the Committee really meant that they were
strong in support of staff having more leeway, but not that they were strongly in
favor or screening and buffer yards in general. The Committee agreed that that
word "strongly" should be removed from the first bullet statement in the
recommendation.

LiDO ADVISORY COMMITTEE MINUTES OF MARCH 26, 2003
Page 1 of 6
