COMMUNICATIOi~S <br /> <br />Department of Crime Controliand Public Safety, Division of Emergency Management, each <br />party shall appoint a Principal[Representative(s) to serve as its central point of contact <br />responsible for coordinating a[ad implementing this MOA. The Department of Crime Control <br />and Public Safety, Division o~ Emergency Management contacts shall be Dr. Kenneth B. Taylor, <br />Director, and Mr. David Skor~inski, Justice Grants Coordinator. The County of Cabarrus <br />contact shall be Mr. John Da~ Interim County Manager. <br /> <br />XII. SUBCONTRACTING AND SUBGRANTING <br /> <br />If the County of Cabarrus sub[ontracts or subgrants any or all of the work required under this <br />Agreeme.nt, the County of Ca~arrus agrees to include in the subcontract or subgrant that the , <br />subcontractor/subgrantee is b![und by the terms and conditions of this MOA. The County <br />Cabarrus agrees to include in[he subcontract/subgrant that the subcontractor/subgrantee shall <br />hold the Department of Crim$ Control and Public Safety, Division of Emergency Management <br />harmless against all claims of~hatever nature arising out of the subcontractor's performance of <br />work under th/s MOA, to the ~xtent allowed and required by law. If the County of Cabarrus <br />suboontracts/subgrants, a cop~ of the executed subcontract/subgrant agreement must be <br />forwarded to the Division of ~mergency Management within ten (10) days of execution of said <br />subcontract/subgrant. ContraCtual arrangement shall in no way relieve the County of Cabarrus of <br />~ts esponmbd~t~es to ensure ti}at all funds msued pursuant to this grant be administered m <br />accordance with all state and federal requirements. The County of Cabarrus is bound by the <br />terms, conditions and restrictions of the USDOJ, OJ'P, Office of Domestic P. reparedness. <br /> <br />XIII. COMPLIANCE WI'I[H LAW <br /> <br />The County of Cabarrus shall ~e wholly responsible for the work to be performed under this <br />MOA and for the supervision bf its employees and assistants. The County of Cabarms shall be <br />responsible for compliance wi~h all laws, ordinances, codes, rules, regulations, licensing <br />requirements and other regula[_ory matters that are applicable to the conduct of its business and <br />work performance under this MOA, including those of federal, State, and local agencies having <br />appropriate jurisdiction. <br /> <br />XIV.
