The Caterer will be expec :ed to provided shelf stable product meal which meets the <br /> menu pattern requirement: and approval of the Purchaser and the NCDOA Nutritionist <br /> for use as an emergency n ~eal for inclement weather days and/or any of the scheduled <br /> holidays if requested by th, Program. These emergency meals must be of a type that <br /> will have a shelf life of at le 1st one month. <br /> <br /> If requested by the Prograr I, the Caterer will be expected to provide picnic meals which <br /> meet the meal pattern inch ding the minimum 1/3 RDA requirement. It is expected that <br /> these meals would be con.,?med on the same day as served. <br /> The Caterer shall abide I~y all stated and local fire, health sanitation, and safety <br /> regulations in all stages of{food service operations. Caterer must maintain a Grade A <br /> sanitation rating from the ~ealth Department in the county where the food preparation <br /> facility is located. If the rarJking drops below Grade A, the Program must be notified by <br /> the Caterer of the rating c~ange on the same day it occurs. The Caterer must make <br /> corrections within 20 days ~nd provide proof of the Grade A inspection to the Program. <br /> Failure to meet this requ'~'ement will automatically terminate this Agreement. The <br /> Caterer must submit to thb Purchaser a copy of each health inspection during the <br /> contract period. <br /> <br /> The Caterer assures that re~q. uirements for foodhandler permits and health examinations <br /> are met. <br /> ! <br /> <br /> The <br /> Caterer <br /> agrees to incl~mnify and carry insurance and f.u,.rnish documentation to <br />Purchaser certifying thatl the Caterer carries Workmen s Compensation and <br />Occupational Disease Insurance meeting the statutory requirements of the State of <br />North Carolina and Employer's liability injury for an amount of not less than $100,000 <br />Comprehensive General-I~iability including coverage for personal injury hazards; <br />products and completed ~perations and contractual liability assumed under the <br />indemnity provision of the ,r contract for limits of not less than $500,000 bodily injury <br />liability each occurrence/a~gregate and $250,000 property damage liability each <br />occurrence/aggregate. / <br /> <br />Automobile bodily injury an~l property damage liability covering all owned, non-owned <br />and hired automobiles for lir~its of not less than $250,000 each person, $500,000 each <br />occurrence bodily injury liSbility and $240,000 each occurrence property damage <br />liability.
