Pre-bid meetings are being <br />conducted with potential bidders to answer questions about the expected construction and <br />the delicate time schedule. Bids are to be turned in on the morning of June 16, 2003 and <br />reviewed by county staff. These bids and the staff recommendations will be presented to <br />you at the Board meeting. <br /> <br />This process will be time sensitive because of the fair. Some of the work will be <br />preformed before the fair and the remainder will be completed after the fair. Reasons for <br />this are the amount of available time remaining before the fair and the need to have the <br />condition of the midway back to a point that the fair can move in and operate. <br /> <br />If you should have any questions about this process prior to the meeting please feel free <br />to contact me. <br /> <br />Readvertised June 18.
