21. Legislation All parties hereto agree to use their best efforts to have local <br /> legislation enacted by the North Carolina General Assembly and .q:gned by thc Governor <br /> o42, ,~orth Carehna in order to protect this Agreement through the life of the financing of <br /> the Convention Center. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the subsequent passage or failure <br /> of any such legislation shall not be deemed to Invalidate or modify this Agreement, <br /> retroactively or prospectively, until and unless all parties hereto shall agree to modify this <br /> Agreement or declare this Agreement null and void. <br />22..' Voiding If a construction contract is not entered into by the CITY for the construction of <br /> <br /> the proposed convention center within 2 703(45 days of the date fh'.s't abo~'elast below <br /> written, unless sooner extended by written agreement of all parties, this agreement shall <br /> be null and void without further action by any party.
