The AI includes an analysis to determine the types and extent of <br />discrimination against the protected groups within the County's jurisdiction. The format <br />used to conduct this analysis is a fair housing planning model developed for use by local <br />government grantees by the North Carolina Division of Community Assistance. <br /> <br />This document examines the demographics of Cabarrus County. It evaluates factors that <br />affect fair housing in Cabarrus County. These factors include characteristics such as age, <br />race, and income of families and individuals in this County and its municipalities. This <br />document finds that the primary barriers in Cabarrus County to Fair Housing are <br />economic and educational in nature.
