CABARRUS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />AGENDA ITEM REQUEST <br /> <br />Meeting Date 10/20/03 <br /> <br />Agenda Item # <br /> <br />SUBJECT: <br />Resolution Increasing the Hotel Occupancy Tax from 5% to 6% <br /> <br />BRIEF SUMMARY: <br />On 7/21/03, the Board of Commissioners conducted a hearing for the purpose of taking <br />public comment on increasing the hotel occupancy tax from 5% to 6%. Consideration of <br />increasing the occupancy tax was added to the agenda of the 9/15/03.
