Resolution No. 2003-_.._ RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING THE REGULAR MEETING SCHEDULE FOR CALENDAR YEAR 2004 WHEREAS, the regular meetings of the Cabarrus County Board of Commissioners are currently held on the third Monday of each month at 6:30 p.m. in the Commissioners' Meeting Room at the Governmental Center; and WI-IEREAS, the Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday and the National Association of Counties Annual Conference require a change in the regular meeting dates in January and July, 2004, respectively; and WHEREAS, North Carolina General Statute 153A-26 requires that the Board hold an organizational meeting on the first Monday of December for each even-numbered year. NOW, TItEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the Cabarms County Board of Commissioners, pursuant to North Carolina General Statute 153A-40(a), does hereby: Establish the Board's regular meeting schedule to meet on the third Monday of each month at 6:30 p.m. in the Commissioners' Meeting Room at the Governmental Center with the exception of the January 2004 meeting which will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, January 26, 2004, and the July 2004 meeting which will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, July 26, 2004. (2) Resolve that an organizational meeting will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, December 6, 2004, in the Commissioners' Meeting Room; and (3) Set the following meeting dates for the calendar year 2004: January 26, 2004 February 16, 2004 March 15, 2004 April 19, 2004 May 17, 2004 June 21, 2004 July 26, 2004 August 16, 2004 September 20, 2004 October 18, 2004 November 15, 2004 December 6, 2004 (Organizational Meeting) December 20, 2004 (4) Resolve that any recessed, special or emergency meeting will be held as needed with proper notice as required by North Carolina General Statute 153A-40.
