Page 1 of 3 STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA COUNTY OF CABARRUS PURCHASE SERVICE AGREEMENT THIS AGREEMENT entered into the last date below entered by and between the CABARRUS COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE, hereinafter referred to as "Sheriff's office", and the DEPARTMENT OF JUVENILE JUSTICE AND DELINQUENCY PREVENTION, hereinafter referred to as "DJJ". This agreement replaces and supercedes any previous agreements between the parties. Consideration The consideraion for this Agreement is the mutual covenants and agreements hereinafter set out and the schedule of payments hereinafter agreed upon between the parties. Term The total term of this agreement shall be from October 1, 2003 through and including June 31, 2004. The initial potion of the term of th/s Agreement shall be from October 1, 2003 through and including June 30, 2004. The remaining term of this agreement shall be July 1, 2004 to June 30, 2005. Specific Services The Sheriff's Office shall provide the following during the term of this Agreement: a) Assign one trained full time equivalent Deputy position to the Stonewall Jackson Youth Development Center to work as a school resource officer. b) Schedule flexible hours relating to work load for the Deputy assigned. c) Review the deputy's job performance in conjunction with the Director of the Stonewall Jackson Youth Development Center. d) Charge salary, fi'inge benefits, basic supplies, and outfit of equipment, uniform, radio, and accessories of one full time deputy to the DJJ. The Department of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention "DJJ" shall provide the following during the term of this Agreement: Reimburse the Sheriff's Office for salary, fringe benefits, basic supplies, and outfit of equipment, uniform, and accessories of one full-time deputy. b) Provide outfitted equipment for the assigned deputy.
