Under normal circumstances, we would deem this to bc <br />an economically unfeasible project. But, as the building is to be owned and operated by <br />the county and as there arc to bc additional county buildings constructed on and adjacent <br />to the arena property, we would like to make the investment cOntingent upon the <br />Ibllowing: <br /> <br />Your mechanical contractor and mechanical engineer have provided PSNC <br />Energy with a list of gas equipment and the estimates of usage of that <br />equipment. You agree that, as a minimum, the equipment will be installed <br />'when' the arena/exhibition area opens and will be in usc aa described for ten <br />(10) years from the opening datc et'thc facility, and Cabarma County agrces to <br />purchase natural 8as. from PSNC Energy for ten years from the opening date of <br />the facility, unless the North Carolina Utilities Commission alters thc terms of <br />such service. <br /> <br /> Thank you for your interest in nam'al gas, and PSNC Energy looks forward to having <br />the arena as a customer in tho fall of 2002. <br /> <br />Sincerely, <br /> <br />Jerry W.
