CABARRUS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Meeting Date: February 18, 2002 Agenda Item # ~'- <br /> <br />SUBJECT: Budget revision to appropriate funds for hazardous materials clean-up. <br /> <br />REQUESTED ACTION: Appropriate funds in the amount of $3750.00 to pay US <br />Filter for containment, removal, site clean-up, disposal and analysis of unknown <br />chemical substance that had been dumped in the gutter of the cul-de-sac of <br />Harrisburg Industrial Park Drive. On December 15, 2001 the spill was located by <br />the Sheriff's Department. Emergency Management responded and contacted US Fi lter <br />for containment, removal, site clean-up, disposal and analysis of the chemical. <br />All attempts to locate the responsible party failed.
