CABARRUS COUNTY <br /> North Carolina <br /> <br />PROCLAMATION <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Emergency Medical Services personnel provide essential lifesaving medical care <br /> to the citizens of Cabarrus County in need 24 hours a day, seven days a week;-and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />several hundred paramedics, emergency medical technicians, firefighters, first <br />responders, emergency room physicians and nurses are involved in providing <br />emergency care around the clock; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a large number of these individuals unselfishly volunteer their time to provide this <br /> valuable service; and. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the members Of emergency medical services teams~ whether career or volunteer, <br />engage in thousands of hours of specialized training and continuing education to <br />enhance their lifesaving skills; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />recognition is due all of these individuals to show appreciation for the value and <br />the accomplishments of all of these individuals who serve on behalf of all <br />Cabarrus County residents. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that we, the Cabarrus County Board of <br />Commissioners, hereby proclaim the week of May 19 - 25, 2002, as <br /> <br />CABARRUS COUNTY EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES WEEK <br /> <br />This 15th day April, 2002. <br /> <br />Robert M.
