<br /> Know all men by these presents, that Cabarrus County, North Carolina, a body politic and political subdivision of
<br />the State of North Carolina, in consideration of the premises and the sum of $1.00 in hand paid by the City of Concord,
<br />Concord, N. C., the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged does hereby grant unto the City of Concord, its successors and
<br />assigns, the right, privilege and easement to go in and upon the following property:

<br />And to construct and maintain in, upon and ttu'ough said premises in a proper manner with all necessaD, pipes, poles, wires,
<br />and appurtenances a utility line or lines together with the right at all times of ingress, egress and regress thereon, and/or
<br />clearing obstructions that may, in the opinion of the city, endanger or interfere'with.the proper maintenance and operation
<br />of same.

<br />To Have and To Hold the aforesaid Right-of-Way and Easement unto the City, its successors and assigns forever;
<br />
<br /> And the Grantor, for Grantor, Grantors heirs, successors, personal representatives and assigns, does hereby
<br />covenant with the city, its successors and assigns, that Grantor is seized of the premises in fee simple, that said premises are
<br />free from all encumbrances, that Grantor has good right and lawful authority to sell that same; and that Grantor will warrant
<br />and defend the said premises unto the City, its successors and assigns, against the lawful claims of all persons whomsoever.
