<br />Proposed Inspection Fee Schedules
<br />
<br /> Mr. Scott McAnulty, Chief Building Inspector, presented the proposed
<br />Building Inspection Fee Schedules. He exDlained the new schedules clarified
<br />the current schedules adopted in July 2000 and there were no fee increases.
<br />
<br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Suggs, seconded, by Commissioner Fennel and
<br />unanimously carried, the Board adopted the following Building Inspection Fee
<br />Schedules effective April 15, 2002.

<br />Estimated cost that exceed $50,000.00 will be charged an additional $2.16 per
<br />$1,000.00
<br />
<br />Estimated cost for residential construction will be based on the total cost
<br />of construction or $55.00 per square foo~ of heated space and $25.00 per
<br />square foot of unheated space, whichever is greater. A $5.00 surcharge will
<br />be added to these permits as required by the "Homeowners Recovery Fund".
<br />
<br />Insulation Permits will be $15.00 per residential unit and $30.00 per
<br />commercial/industrial building.
<br />
<br />Mobile Home Permits will be $100.00. This permit fee will cover the mobile
<br />home set up, electrical connections, and the plumbing connections. If the
<br />home is being placed on a new lot there will be an additional W&S permit
<br />required. The W&S permit is $20.00.
<br />
<br />Daycare/Group Care Homes/Foster Care Home inspection will be $44.00.
<br />
<br />Temporary Construction Trailer Permits are $56.00.
<br />
<br />Construction Plan Review Fee will be calculated at .02 per square feet of new
<br />structures plus $50.00. This fee must be paid at the time that the plans are
<br />submitted to be reviewed.
<br />
<br />Replacement Building Permit Cards will be $2.50.
