CABARRUS <br /> <br />ECONOMIC .DEVELOPMENT <br /> <br />April 16, 2002 <br /> <br />Mr. Robert Freeman, Chairman <br />Cabarrus County Commission <br />PO Box 707 <br />ConCord, NC 28025 <br /> <br />Dear Mr. Freeman: <br /> <br />On April 10, 2002, the Cabarrus Economic Development Board of Directors <br />approved a by-laws amendment re-organizing the EDC board. The new by-laws <br />take affect on JulY 1, 2002. A copy of the amendment is attached. Under the new <br />by-laws, the board members are to be approved by the County Commission. <br /> <br />At the same meeting, the board also adopted the Nomination Committee report. <br />This committee chaired by Commissioner Arne Fennel, recommended nine <br />individuals'for County Commission approval.
