The Youth Council serves <br />as a subgroup of the Centralina WDB to handle youth related issues and concerns. A summary of the <br />requirements for the Youth Council and for nominations is attached. <br /> <br />We are requesting Centralina WDB members and JobReady and JobLink contacts to submit names of <br />individuals to serve on the Youth Council and represent Cabarrus County. We are currently recruiting <br />parents of eligible youth seeking assistance under WIA, private sector/business representatives, individuals <br />from service agencies, such as juvenile justice and local law enforcement agencies, and individuals from <br />organizations that have experience relating to youth activities. There is no limit to the number of <br />individuals you may nominate; however, the Centralina WDB will determine the individuals who will be <br />appointed. Please complete the nomination form attached and submit it to me by Monday June 3, 2002. <br />The nomination form may be faxed (704-347-4710) or e-mailed.
