requirements. <br /> c) Admission- the participant is admitted to the program upon acceptance by the participant and parent(s) of <br />program requirements. <br /> <br />6) Means of Working with Youth and Families: <br /> a) The Program Director has frequent and ongoing contact with the participants and his/her parent(s) <br />including: <br /> i) Intake meeting with participant and family. Program requirements are explained and the necessary <br />documentation is secured. <br /> b) Teen Court Session- the Program Director is on hand to explain the sentence and answer questions. <br /> c) Community Service Site- the Program Director maintains regular, frequent contact with the participant, the <br />parent(s), and Community Site Coordinator. <br /> d) Evaluation- the Program Director will conduct an exit interview with the participant and parent(s). <br /> <br />7) Daily Program Activities: <br />Include referrals from Juvenile Court Counselors; participants are contacted to arrange initial intake meeting. <br />Initial intake meetings are conducted at which requirements are explained. Necessary paperwork is completed <br />in questions are answered. Notices are sent to jury, bailiff, attorneys and the judge. Summons is sent to the <br />participants as well as reminder telephone calls. Community Service Sites are arranged in this information is <br />communicated to the participant. Tracking forms from the Office of Juvenile <br />Justice are completed. The Program Director interacts with Juvenile Court and maintains communications <br />(both verbal and written) witl~ Juvenile Court personnel. The lines of communications between the two entities <br />(teen Court and Juvenile Counselors) are strong and open.
