Box 707 <br />Concord, NC 28026-0707 <br /> <br />Dear Mr. Day, <br /> <br />Per our conversation, we are in agreement regarding the following changes in conditions <br />found in the Solid Waste Collection and Disposal Franchise Agreement between BFI and <br />Cabarrus County, dated January 20, 1998. <br /> <br />o <br /> <br />BFI will waive tip fees charged to Cabarms County on municipal solid waste <br />collected at County-operated convenience center(s) delivered by the County to the <br />BFI landfill at Lowes Motor Speedway. <br />Rental fees will be waived on BFI-owned containers used for municipal solid <br />waste located at the Cabarrus County landfill. <br />BFI will place containers for the collection of cardboard at the Cabarms County <br />Human Services Center (1303 S. Cannon Blvd., Kannapolis) and at the County <br />recycling center located near Angelo's Fish House (1534 Trinity Church Rd., <br />Concord) free of charge. Cardboard will be collected at those sites by BFI and <br />will be transported to a recycling center free of charge. <br />BFI will provide curbside recycling collection for a fee (to be determined at a <br />later date) in resi.dential subdivisions in the unincorporated areas of the county <br />upon request.
