Alter receiving <br />qualifications and proposals from various design/build teams. We have selected SC Hondros Inc. <br />to design/build this facility. The administration building will be a 2-story structure consisting of <br />40,062 square feet. The maintenance building will contain 20,000 square feet. <br /> <br />The total cost for the contract is $4,000,000.00. The cost includes the following allowances: <br />1) Capital Recovery Fee $11,500.00 <br /> <br />2) Water tap fee 3,500.00 <br />3) Fire line tap fee 8,000.00 <br />4) Site work 460,000.00 <br />5) Brick 250.00 <br />6) Shelving 9,000.00 <br />7) Carpet 15.00 <br />8) Tile 10.00 <br />9) Data & Communications 180,000.00 <br />10) Contingency 76,000.00 <br /> <br />per thousand <br /> <br />per square yard <br />per square foot <br /> <br />It is also understood that the Board of Education cannot proceed with awarding the contract until <br />the County Commissioners and the Local Government Commission approves the contract. <br /> <br />Attachments: Contract, schematic floor plans, site plan <br /> <br />cc: Gene Jordan, Blair Bennett <br /> <br /> <br />
