Little, Director Cabarrus County Parks and Recreation Department Subject: First amendment to Agreement for Priority Use of Specified Recreation Facilities, Stonewall Jackson Soccer Complex. On June 17, 2002, William L. Jermyn,'Cabarrus Soccer Association League official, requested an amendment to the Agreement for Priority Use of Specified Recreation Facilities, Stonewall Jackson Soccer Complex. The original agreement specified that both the City of Concord and CSA would contribute $300,000 each over a three-year period in three payments of $100,000 per year. CSA requested an amendment to the original agreement that would allow CSA and City of Concord to meet its pledge of $300,000 over a six-year period in six payments of $50,000 per year. On June 17, 2002, the Cabarrus County Board of Commissioners approved this requested amendment to the Agreement for Priority Use of Specified Recreation Facilties. Attached are copies of the two documents: (1) official amendment to the agreement (2) letter from CSA requesting the amendment to the agreement as approved by Cabarrus County Board of Commissioners in their meeting in June 17, 2002. While preparing the official amendment to the soccer complex agreement, our Cabarrus County attorney discovered the six-year payment date deadline of December 31,2007 is incorrect. It should read December 31,2006; therefore, the attached amendment has the correct date of December 31,2006. If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to contact me.
