<br />and unanimously carried, the Board adopted the following Resolution.

<br /> TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH THE
<br /> NORTH C~=ROLINA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION

<br /> WHEREAS, Cabarrus County has requested the North Carolina
<br /> Department of Transportation to assist in the funding of Cabarrus
<br /> County Transportation Service; and
<br />
<br /> W"~EREAS, Cabarrus County will provide ten percent (10%) of the
<br /> cost of the above described project;
<br />
<br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Cabarrus County Manager
<br /> or his Designee is hereby authorized to enter into a contract
<br /> with the Department of Transportation and execute all agreements
<br /> and contracts with the North Carolina Department of
<br /> Transportation, Public Transportation Division.
