The team contracted with a communications firm to develop a poster/brochure to accompany the <br />video. In addition to the emphases on the critical behaviors, resource information is provided for all <br />agencies serving young children and families in the county. 12,000 copies have been distributed to local <br />agencies serving children and families, school systems, Head Starts, childcare centers and homes. <br /> <br /> At the Prevent Child Abuse Conference in April 2001, four members of the team presented a <br />workshop on carrying out a Child Fatality Review and shared the extensive community project that the <br />team developed as a result. <br /> <br /> The Cabarrus Community Child Protection Team received the Annual State Award for Public <br />Education and Awareness at the Prevent Child Abuse Conference held at Greensboro April 9, 2002 for <br />the Team's Infant Safety Campaign. <br /> <br /> Department of 5ocial Services <br />1303 South Cannon Blvd. Kannapolis, NC 28083 (704) 920-1400 <br /> <br /> <br />
